Pudding grass

It is a plant of the Labiatae family, herbaceous, perennial, fragrant, with stems and branches covered with red-green hairs and a height of about 70 cm, leaves covered with hairs, oval and pointed in green. Darker, wider and larger than marjoram leaves and purple flowers that appear in groups at the end of flowering branches in early to late summer. All aerial parts form the medicinal organ of this plant. The essential oil of this plant has medicinal properties. This plant grows on sea coasts, mountain slopes and forests in different regions of Europe, Africa and Asia. In Iran, it can be seen in the form of a car in the northern regions of Lahijan, Talesh and Astara
