Description

It is a plant from the Polygonaceae family, perennial, 20 to 100 cm high, with long, oval and pointed, light green leaves that are attached to the underground stem with long leaf tails, red flowers and Rarely white, which appear collectively at the end of the flowering branches, and the thick, cylindrical and attached underground stem, which is covered with numerous spines around the outer surface. Rhizomes form the medicinal organ of this plant. The flowering time of this plant is from May to July. This plant is native to Europe and is also distributed in the continents of Europe, Asia and America.
